Program
Day1:
Welcome to Tanzania where you will meet me (your safari driver guide).
Pick clients from their booked hotel in Dar and drive to Mikumi National Park. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch which is either Mikumi Kikoboga lodge or Vuma Hills Tented Camp or Tan Swiss Hotel. Afternoon lunch followed by game viewing in the park, animals commonly found include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants. Wild dog can be seen in packs here.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2:
After breakfast do a full day game viewing in Mikumi National Park, followed by dinner and overnight at the same lodge or camp.
Day 3:
Early morning breakfast then drive to Ruaha. Arrive to lodge or camp followed by afternoon game viewing in the park, which is spectacular in its concentration of wildlife. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge or camp.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, full day game viewing in the park. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippo and crocodile and attracts lion, leopard, hunting dog and other species such as waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra and elephants. Grant’s gazelle, ostrich and cheetah may be seen on the plains. All meals at the lodge or camp.
Day 5:
Early breakfast the depart with en route visit to Isimila Stone Age.
Dinner and overnight at Mikumi.
Day 6:
Morning breakfast, resumes your journey to Selous Game Reserve with pack lunch en route game drive; arrive late evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 7:
After breakfast departs for one of the most exciting experience, the walking safari, accompanied by an armed ranger, back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon game drive in the biggest and fascinating game reserve of Africa.
Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8:
Morning after breakfast, full day game drive in Selous, the Rufiji River features a large numbers of hippo and crocodile and attracts lion, leopard, hunting dog, and numerous other species such as waterbuck, impala, warthog, eland, giraffe, zebra and elephant. All meals at the camp or lodge.
Day 9:
After breakfast back to Dar es Salaam with picnic lunch, via Kibiti road, the journey will take about 7 hours and will bring you through one of the most amazing areas of Tanzania, arrive Dar es Salaam late afternoon.
